Infinity Vision is a certification for cinemas with Premium Large Format (PLF) screens, meaning cinemagoers are guaranteed an exceptional film presentation. This includes big screens, bright images and outstanding sound. When you see the Infinity Vision badge, you know you’re in for an incredible cinema experience.

What makes an Infinity Vision cinema different?

With hundreds of cinemas and screens out there, it can be hard to know which ones truly deliver an exceptional big-screen experience. Infinity Vision can help you choose.

Cinemas apply for Infinity Vision certification and are evaluated against rigorous standards across three key areas: screen, sound and projection.

• A seriously big screen: To achieve Infinity Vision certification, cinemas must have a screen that is a minimum of 45 feet wide.

• Outstanding sound: Infinity Vision cinemas must have either immersive sound, like Dolby Atmos, or 7.1 sound, helping bring every moment of the film to life.

• Bright, brilliant images: Projection is another key part of the Infinity Vision experience. Certified cinemas must achieve brightness levels reaching either 14 footlamberts in 2D and/or 6 footlamberts in 3D, helping deliver a bright and impressive image on screen.
